Your site is well structured, I love that I can compare the cost of different materials so easily within my project. I just had my cabinets installed and was ready to move forward with countertops. You expedited the quoting process for me, and I went with the lowest quote. Only feedback I have is regarding your fabricator partner's time to contact me. Once I transacted, I got a note that they would contact me to schedule a time for installation. After not hearing from the fabricator for a day, I decided to give them a call and we were able to schedule from there. Other than that little hang up, it was incredibly smooth and I'd use your site again.

We needed a clean white quartz for a casita we're renting. This was perfect for us because the process is fast and the prices on white quartz are great. My only complaint is that you should be able to create multiple projects at the same time and this site makes you reset your project if you want to start a new one. I wanted quotes for another rental while my casita project was underway and so I had to create a new user account to work around this issue.

I purchased a home 6 months ago and this was the second time I've remodeled a room. My first project was down to the studs remodel of the master bathroom and in that project I installed a combination vanity and countertop from Home Depot and it looks great. This time around I was replacing cabinets and countertop in my kitchen so its my first time needing to buy "custom" countertops. From my bathroom remodel i knew I wanted quartz in my kitchen and so I went back to Home Depot. Lowes offers Silestone and Allen Roth brands but Home Depot has a lot more to choose from. At Home Depot I chose the Stone Mark Calcutta Botanica because it I thought it looked best with the dark grey Ikea cabinets I ordered. First thing I found out is the style I liked is only offered in the thin 2 CM thick version. It is also offered in a 4 CM version but this means double stacking the 2CM quartz along the edge to make the countertop appear twice as thick. My issue with this is that first there is a seam where the countertops are stacked together. Second: some people probably like this look but I prefer a classic granite thickness of 3 CM. I went home and searched online for Calcutta Botanica which is how I found Counter Smart. The thing is on their website it is listed under the brand Q Quartz. I knew it was the same material because many of the other Stone Mark optiions were also listed as being from the same brand. Since this is an online company I wanted to first be sure and so I visited the slab showroom that the website directed me to. Sure enough...same material. I actually think its better that it works this way works this way because you can actually see the slab instead of a 10 inch sample. On the website you can see the pricing on a per Square Foot basis much like at Home Depot. This pricing was virtually the same...about $0.50 cheaper per Square Foot. However what really matters is the quotes you recieve from the different countertop companies on the site as there are additional charges such as the cost for cutting the sink hole that are not included in the per Square Foot listings which is also how its done at Home Depot. In order to get these quotes you submit a digital drawing and the quotes are produced instantly. It took me a few minutes to get a hang of the tool but it was actually pretty easy once you get a handle on it. The quotes are produced as soon as you finish the drawings and as it turns out they are dead on accurate. After selecting the lowest quote you schedule the at-home measurement which involved a technician setting up a unit in the middle of my kitchen and beaming a laser at markers that are placed on each corner of the base cabinetry. The enitrety of the offical measurement took 40 minutes start to finish. The whole process is very interesting and the technician was eager to answer my questions and clearly explain the layout drawings which are rendered in real time. As for the official quote I was notified later the following day that it was available to review, and as I mentioned already the total was less than $20 from the rough quotes and the difference was due to a recommendation from the technician regarding the overhang length on the end of my cabinets on the room facing side. Here is where I think the Counter Smart process really excels. Within hours of making payment the countertop installer contacted me and scheduled my installation for 9 days later. On the quote that I selected the estimated time was 2 weeks (already 2 weeks faster than the time frame that Home Depot estimated) so 9 days was welsome news and believe me, when you're washing dishes in your bathtub because you don't have kitchen counters every day saved is important. It's funny to think that if the 3cm option of Botanica Quartz had been an option at Home Depot I would be without kicthen counters for another 2 weeks. To sum up my experience, I would say that this is an excellent service that I will confidently recommend to anyone buying countertops. I'm actually surprised they aren't more well known because it offers competitive prices with the biggest home improvement store in the world and surpassed it in turnaround time by a healthy margin.

So I really had a good experience and ended up using you guys, but at first the pricing wasn't quite what I was looking for. All of your partners' estimates came in above what my fabricator quoted me, but then Preston reached out and said they could locate a remnant that could probably get my quote much lower. He didn't disappoint! It was the same style I wanted, and I guess a project had just been completed out of that material type and they had a huge leftover portion. Thank you Preston!

I love the multiple estimates and how pricing updates for each material option. It makes shopping considerably easier and I felt informed throuhout my entire experience. The only thing I didn't like is how the soonest time slots for scheduling the professional measurement are 48 hours out. I was hoping to get it done a little faster, but understand that logistics are complicated. It would also be helpful if the appointment time slots were narrower time windows. The measuring crew did provide the 30 minute advanced notice before arriving, and were otherwise very professional and efficient. Overall I will recommend this service, just providing constructive feedback ;-)

I didn't want to draw my countertops at first, but figured out that's how the site generates the estimates from local fabricators, so I spent 30 minutes getting my kitchen and bathroom inputs into the site but glad I did. Great website interface, great business idea, and i found exactly what i needed. Frustrating to have received a text half an hour before my appt saying “we are getting your remnant ready,” to then arrive with the remnant buried behind dozens of other large remnants. My appt was at 1 and it was 1:40 before I could take a look at the piece that I inquired about. Would’ve left happier and more ready to rave about my experience with even a 10% discount on the piece to show they valued my time. Rich and Taz were super nice, but when I asked for this concession, Rich kinda made me feel like an idiot for even asking which leads me to feel they don’t care much about the customer experience.

Communicating via with Zach via the countertopsmart.com chat portal was great! Many affordable, very beautiful countertop options to choose from the various distributors. The seller's designer, Jenny Maples, with JM Design Group, was wonderful. She was very patient and knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and really made me feel enthused not only when it came to the countertop purchase, but also simply in offering suggestions regarding the kitchen redesign when I asked specific design questions. Granite remnants were not ready when we arrived. There was only one forklift, which was already in use somewhere else in the warehouse. Our half hour appointment stretched into and hour in the rain.

Very easy to use the site although I wish there was a 'sort by store' option. That would have made the selection for viewing easier as initially the site scheduled me for two different stores at the same time! I realized that I had to look at the pieces and sort by ones at the same location before selecting the ones to view. But I saved quite a bit, almost half the price of the original price...Wow! Great experience.

Second time I have used these guys. They are very helpful, in fact Taz met with me on a Saturday morning in the pouring rain so I could view the slab (from an acceptable social distance!) to insure it was the one I really wanted. This process works really well for small tops or as was the case in my first order, to find countertop material no longer stocked to match existing counters.
